As of October 15, 2024, Hon Gai Port Customs Branch has completed import and export procedures for 448 enterprises with over 50,700 declarations, with a total import and export turnover of over 8.7 billion USD.
Hon Gai Port Customs Branch manages the area from Ha Long City to Dong Trieu Town, which is one of the areas that suffered heavy losses caused by storm No. 3. With the spirit of practical cooperation with businesses, immediately after the storm, Hon Gai Port Customs Branch directed teams and working groups to directly visit 52 businesses in industrial parks and 7 warehouse and yard businesses in the management area to grasp the damage and promptly support and guide businesses in overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3.
At the same time, grasp and promptly resolve difficulties and problems related to import-export activities under its authority; gather proposals from departments and branches to resolve difficulties and problems so that enterprises can soon stabilize production and business activities.
With the efforts in supporting and accompanying businesses to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3 of the Hon Gai Port Customs Branch, the production - business and import-export activities of businesses in the area have been basically restored and operated stably.
As of October 15, 2024, the Hon Gai Port Customs Branch has completed import and export procedures for 448 enterprises with over 50,700 declarations, with a total import and export turnover of over 8.7 billion USD (an increase of 79 enterprises, an increase of 26% in declarations and 18% in turnover compared to the same period in 2023). This result has brought the State budget revenue of the Branch to nearly 5,700 billion VND (reaching 130% of the 2024 plan target).
