Due to the seriousness of the disease, this person had to be transferred to Viet Duc Hospital (Hanoi) for surgery. The surgery urgently required 12 units of blood but at that time, the hospital was out of blood. At the family's call, I mobilized 11 youth union members in the commune to go with me to Hanoi that night to support,” Mr. Duong Van Hai recalled.
