Fire at Big C Thang Long shopping center

On July 10, a representative of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Cau Giay District Police said that a fire broke out at Big C Thang Long shopping center (Trung Hoa ward, Cau Giay district, Hanoi ).

At around 11:30 a.m. the same day, many people in the shopping mall suddenly discovered thick smoke coming from a booth on the first floor.

Upon discovering the incident, the fire fighting force at the facility quickly provided evacuation instructions and initially extinguished the fire.

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Cau Giay District Police mobilized 2 fire trucks and many officers and soldiers to the scene.

After a few minutes, the fire was extinguished. However, the Fire Police force organized smoke evacuation until after 13:00.

"The incident did not cause any human casualties, and property damage is being inventoried," said a representative of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Cau Giay District Police.

The cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified by Cau Giay District Police.
