(NLDO) - A chicken and duck egg incubator caught fire at dawn in Phu Xuyen district (Hanoi). Authorities actively put out the fire, but two victims died.
On January 18, news from Hanoi City Police said that Phu Xuyen District Police (Hanoi City) is urgently investigating the cause of the house fire at No. 173, Cau Gie Quarter, Dai Xuyen Commune, Phu Xuyen District (Hanoi City) that killed 2 people.

Accordingly, at 0:58 a.m. the same day, upon receiving information about a house fire at No. 173, Cau Gie Quarter, Dai Xuyen Commune, the Hanoi City Command Information Center dispatched 5 fire trucks and dozens of firefighters to the scene to put out the fire.
Upon arriving at the scene, the authorities determined that the house on fire had 2 floors, the first floor had an incubator for chicken and duck eggs, the second floor was used for sleeping, the area of the building was about 100 m2 with a reinforced concrete structure, making it difficult to put out the fire.
The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force urgently deployed fire fighting measures, used a machine to cut the main door lock and used a ladder to access the second floor of the house through the first floor's corrugated iron roof, broke the glass door to escape the smoke and searched for the victims.
At the scene, the police discovered and brought out 2 injured people on the 2nd floor and handed them over to the medical team to take them to the hospital for emergency treatment. At about 2 o'clock the same day, the fire was completely extinguished.
As a result, the fire injured and killed two people and burned an area of about 50 square meters.
