Hot TikToker Mai Chi (Chi Ka) is the first Gen Z to appear on ChatToday. Mai Chi was born in 2003 and is currently a full-time content creator and owner of a milk tea shop. To have enough time to develop her work on social media platforms, Mai Chi decided to put her studies at the National Economics University on hold.
It didn’t take Mai Chi long to make the decision to put her studies on hold. She said she didn’t want to take a risk or try something new. Before making this decision, Mai Chi understood what she needed and what was right for her at the moment. Specifically, at that time, Mai Chi realized that her TikTok channel had the potential to grow.
"TikTok won't wait for me for another 2 years to graduate before continuing to work," Chi said.

Mai Chi believes that pursuing a freelance job is not difficult, but to do it successfully is the difficult thing. A freelance job brings comfort in terms of time but also comes with many times of instability because "too much freedom leads to lack of discipline".
Chi believes that instead of working 8 hours, freelancers have to work 24 hours. If they don't know how to organize, freelancers can easily fall into their own vortex and not bring any results to their work.
Mai Chi is a minimalist, frugal person, loves to use second-hand goods and always tries to spend less than she can afford.
Talking about the reason for pursuing this lifestyle, Chi said that since she was little, she always felt shy about spending her family's money. Therefore, this feeling has followed her until now. Chi only spends on what she feels is really necessary, there is no need to shop too much or live a life of indulgence when she is too young.
When asked about her opinion on the word stability, Mai Chi said that "stability is when no one can replace you". The 21-year-old girl gave advice to young people not to dream of a rosy job or life. Do everything many times until it is right. Every job requires perseverance.
"There's no way that if I create a TikTok channel today, I'll earn 100 million VND next month. That will never happen. I've also experienced a time when I posted videos and no one watched them," Mai Chi affirmed.
