Long said that after the official results announced by the Ministry of Education and Training that he won the first prize in the national excellent student competition in informatics, he was surprised and happy. "Immediately after that, I continuously received congratulatory messages from family, friends and teachers, so I felt a bit... shy," Long shared. According to Long, he has had a passion for informatics since he was a child, and is extremely fond of things related to science or technology. "Once, I accidentally watched a movie and saw a scene where a programmer hacked the system, so I also researched and learned about this field. And from then on, I was really immersed in lines of code. There were even days when I stayed up until 3am just to research and write code," Long recalled. According to this male student, during the time studying for the national excellent student competition, almost all of his daily life revolved around lines of code. He wrote code in the morning, noon, evening and sometimes late at night. "I spend about 10-11 hours a day studying IT. It can be said that I have temporarily put everything aside for the goal of winning the highest prize in the national excellent student competition. I hope that in addition to the certificate of merit, I will have more precious memories of living my life to the fullest for a beautiful goal of my youth," Long said.

This handsome male student once won a national gold medal in an English competition, and was also a member of the math team when he was in middle school... "But because I am so passionate about coding, I decided to take the exam for the specialized information technology class of Vinh Phuc High School for the Gifted," Long said.

Long said he has been planning to study abroad since middle school. Therefore, Long will definitely study abroad in the near future. "I am in the process of building my profile. I plan to study a major related to artificial intelligence or computer science. I dream of becoming an expert in artificial intelligence, especially in neurotechnology. Because I find that field quite interesting and is also one of the trends in the information technology industry today," Long shared. Long also said: "In addition to studying, I like playing badminton, traveling and especially listening to music, especially rap. I also like playing games, especially FPS games. But I am not addicted to games, I just look for them after stressful study hours, or in my free time, to help relieve stress."

Long also said that he idolizes Gennady Vladimirovich Korotkevich (30 years old, Belarusian), because this person won spectacularly in many competitions for programmers at a very young age, and is considered a young legend of the world programming village. "He has a record of achievements: 6 gold medals, 1 silver medal in the International Olympiad in Informatics, a record that perhaps no one will break for a long time. Because we share the same passion for competitive programming, I always consider him as the model programmer that I aspire to. Of course, I will not be able to be equal, I just want to become a programmer like that", Long shared. Sharing about his dream in life, Long confided that he wants to explore the world. And especially, he has a burning dream, which is to be able to create new technologies to help improve people's quality of life. Sharing with his peers, Long believes that in order to achieve good results in studying, one must always improve one's knowledge every day.
