(HNMO) – To serve the work of recognizing high school graduation and university and college admissions in 2023, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training requires high schools in the city to urgently update the learning results of grade 12 students to the industry database. This must be completed before 5:00 p.m. on May 31, 2023.
According to the direction of the Ministry of Education and Training, in 2023, all departments of education and training will continue to promote the application of information technology in teaching, learning and organizing exams and admissions. All learning results of high school students (grades 10, 11 and 12) are updated on the database of the education and training sector. This is not only to serve the recognition of high school graduation, but also to facilitate candidates when using high school learning results to apply for university and college admissions.
The new point in this year's university and college entrance exam is that in case students use their high school academic results to register for university (or college), students do not need to go to school to borrow their transcripts to print and request a certificate from the high school about these results as in previous years. All academic results of grade 12 students on the education and training sector database are synchronized with the examination and admission management system of the Ministry of Education and Training. Training institutions across the country can use this data to organize university and college admissions.
To ensure accuracy in the work of recognizing high school graduation and university admission, the Ministry of Education and Training requires departments of education and training to direct schools to carefully review students' learning data, minimizing errors.
Hanoi City has nearly 103,000 students registered to take the 2023 high school graduation exam. Of these, 15,991 students have foreign language certificates requesting to be used in the recognition of high school graduation this year.
Along with updating the learning results of grade 12 students, during this time, high schools in the city are organizing post-checking of foreign language certificates; reviewing the exam conditions of each student and checking the exam site facilities.
This year's high school graduation exam will take place on June 28 and 29. More than 1 million students nationwide have registered to take the exam.
