Man Utd fans call for Greenwood to return to replace Antony

Witnessing Mason Greenwood dribble and score impressively in Getafe's 3-3 draw with Las Palmas in round 27 of La Liga, many fans called on Man Utd to bring the English striker back to replace Antony.

Some Man Utd fans recalled that Alejandro Garnacho and Bruno Fernandes failed to score from similar opportunities as Greenwood in the win over Luton Town in the 25th round of the Premier League on February 18. Both Garnacho and Fernandes tried to dribble past the goalkeeper, but failed.

Meanwhile, Antony has been a disappointment since joining Man Utd in the summer of 2022 for a transfer fee of $109 million, the second highest in the club's history after Paul Pogba. According to Spanish newspaper Fichajes, Man Utd are ready to sell Antony for a transfer fee of 55 million USD. Antony is among the players who could be sold in the summer of 2024, along with Raphael Varane, Anthony Martial, Tom Heaton, Casemiro, Jadon Sancho, Donny van de Beek, Hannibal Mejbri and Alvaro Fernandez.
