From this success, Mr. Cap established the Dong Thanh Sweet Pomelo Seedling Production and Consumption Cooperative, attracting 11 members to participate.
To increase the value, Mr. Cap also cooperated with a number of institutes and schools to develop off-season pomelo varieties.

Mr. Huynh Van Cap in Dong Thanh commune, Binh Minh town (Vinh Long province) shared: “In the main season, pomelos cost from 100,000 - 120,000 VND/kg. In the off-season, pomelos can cost up to 160,000 VND/kg.
The processed pomelo tree produces high-priced fruit off-season, helping growers of this specialty tree earn a decent income, not less than other crops.
With his efforts in production, Mr. Huynh Van Cap has now become a good farmer and businessman in the locality, and is the Chairman of the Billionaire Farmers Club in Binh Minh town, Vinh Long province.
