The Provincial Senior Journalists Club is a place to gather, connect and encourage senior journalists to continue to develop their abilities, enhance their roles and responsibilities and contribute more to journalistic activities.
At the meeting, members were informed about the club’s activities in the past as well as upcoming activities. Every year, senior journalists have contributed many news and articles to local and central newspapers, radio stations, and specialized magazines...
In particular, there are some senior journalists whose quality works have won provincial and central awards. In addition, the Club also has many rich and useful activities to encourage and motivate senior journalists to live happily and healthily.

Speaking at the meeting, Editor-in-Chief of Quang Tri Newspaper and Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association Truong Duc Minh Tu acknowledged the contributions of veteran journalists to the province's press activities in recent times.
Affirming that the association always creates conditions as well as hopes that senior journalists will continue to contribute many quality journalistic works to the local press. At the same time, inform the results of the activities of the Journalists Association and provincial press agencies in the past time.
Editor-in-Chief of Quang Tri Newspaper, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association Truong Duc Minh Tu also informed about the Festival for Peace to be held in July 2024. The festival will be jointly organized by the province and the central government at the national and international levels, an event to honor the value of peace, conveying the message of peace of the Quang Tri people in the flow of aspirations of the Vietnamese people and peace-loving peoples in the world.
In an intimate atmosphere, members reviewed the glorious 99-year tradition of Vietnam's revolutionary press; shared many thoughts and expectations about journalism and the responsibilities of journalists to further promote the role of journalism in the cause of building and developing the homeland and country.
