Ha Long Carnival - Shining with Wonders

Held since 2007, Ha Long Carnival has become an annual event, a unique and attractive cultural and tourism brand of Ha Long - Quang Ninh.

The Ha Long Carnival 2024 stage is elaborately invested, harmoniously combining onshore and at sea and is designed in 3 layers: On sand, shallow water and deep water.

In particular, this year, Ha Long Carnival is presented for the first time in the form of live stage art on the sea with the participation of nearly 2,000 artists, actors, singers... combined with many modern technologies such as Drone light (unmanned aerial vehicles), fireworks, 3D mapping, LED, modern sound and light... Ha Long Carnival 2024 is considered to have the most magnificent scale ever, attracting the attention of tens of thousands of people and tourists at home and abroad.

Ha Long Carnival 2024 with the theme "Lighting up with Wonders" is built on the value system of Quang Ninh province with "Beautiful nature - Unique culture - Civilized society - Transparent administration - Developed economy - Happy people".

The performance depicts a family image in a lovely coastal fishing village.

The program includes 5 art performances that are elaborately staged: Legend of Ha Long; Commercial fishing village; Heritage Dance and Shining with Wonders. Through that, it depicts a colorful picture of the land at the northeastern tip of the country, which contains rich historical sediments, cultural values, rich identity, character, uniqueness and great pride of the people of Ha Long - Quang Ninh.

At the same time, honoring Ha Long Bay - one of the 7 new natural wonders of the world, marking the 30th anniversary of the first time Ha Long Bay was honored by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage.

The highlight of the program is the Drone light performance appearing in act 1 "Ha Long Legend" and act 5 "Light up with Wonders".

3D mapping technology is included in the performances in the Ha Long Carnival 2024 program.

More than 1,600 Drone lights depict the typical symbols of Ha Long and Quang Ninh in the sky such as: the image of the sacred dragon, the Rooster and Hen Islet - Ha Long Bay, the miner, Yen Tu Pagoda, Van Don Airport, the Ha Long Carnaval logo... The Drone light performance is also the most anticipated part for locals and tourists at this event.

The program ended with a brilliant high-altitude fireworks display, leaving locals and visitors with special impressions, beautiful memories and exciting experiences about the historical and cultural values and landscapes of the Wonder - World Natural Heritage of Ha Long Bay and the beautiful Ha Long City.
