The twin sons of former midfielder Darren Fletcher have both signed professional contracts with the club where their father played.
Jack and Tyler have signed their first professional contracts with Manchester United, the club's website reported on April 4. The two players have just turned 17 and are playing for the U18 team. They and their father Fletcher share the central midfield position. Jack impressed coach Erik Ten Hag before being allowed to train with the first team.

The Fletcher twins spent years in the youth teams of Manchester City, Manchester United's crosstown rivals. In 2023, they joined their father's old club in a transfer worth £1.6 million.
The twins play for the same club, but are taking different paths in their international careers. Tyler has chosen the Scotland youth team, where his father played 80 times at senior level, while Jack has chosen the England youth team. The brothers faced each other in February 2023 when Scotland U16s played England, with Jack assisting a goal in England's 3-0 win.
