Beware of invitations to buy tickets to see "The Legendary Train" at the Ho Chi Minh City River Festival

On the afternoon of May 29, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism issued a warning about the appearance of some acts of selling tickets to see the art program "Legendary Train" on cyberspace during the 2nd Ho Chi Minh City River Festival in 2024.

Accordingly, the 2024 Ho Chi Minh City River Festival officially opened on May 31, with a series of nearly 20 activities and a series of tourism stimulus programs lasting until June 9.

The Organizing Committee confirmed that the art program "Legendary Train" does not sell tickets.

"However, there are currently some individuals selling invitation tickets on the internet, which is against regulations. People and tourists need to be vigilant," the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism said in a statement.

To serve the tourism needs of local people and tourists, the Organizing Committee has announced promotional programs and discount incentives to stimulate tourism during this festival.

Up to now, more than 100 businesses have announced and applied preferential policies on prices and promotional programs for shopping services, food services, sightseeing, and tours for residents and tourists.

In particular, 15 famous brands have provided electronic vouchers with discounts of up to 50% with unlimited quantity for airlines, to apply to passengers flying to Ho Chi Minh City during the Ho Chi Minh City River Festival.
