As reported by Tuoi Tre Online , the Ho Chi Minh City Inspectorate has concluded that there are many existing problems, planning violations, and construction violations occurring in functional area No. 1 (Area A) - Phu My Hung urban area.
This is the result after the inspection of compliance with legal regulations in urban planning management, construction investment management and investment calling at the Investment and Construction Management Board of the New Urban Area of the South of the City (Southern Area), the inspection period is from 2015 to 2022.
Phu My Hung Development Company Limited, formerly known as Phu My Hung Joint Venture Company, was granted an investment license in 1993 as a joint venture between Tan Thuan Industrial Development Company (IPC) and a foreign partner.
According to the investment license, the company must invest in 5 urban clusters including: functional areas No. 1, No. 8, No. 14, No. 16, No. 18, with a total area (adjusted) of nearly 900 hectares, including public land under the management of the City.
At functional area number 1, Phu My Hung Corporation has invested in completing the Phu My Hung urban area project.
In this area, the company was assigned 299 hectares of land but has used more than 400 hectares and has not yet handed over 110 hectares of public land to the city for management. The company has not yet planned the remaining 4 functional sub-areas.
