With the synchronous participation of the entire political system from the district to the grassroots level, the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" (TDĐKXDĐSVH) in Cam Thuy district has increasingly developed extensively, achieving many positive results.

In order for the movement of physical training and sports to go deeper and deeper, in recent years, Cam Thuy district has closely followed the plans and instructions of the superiors on the implementation of the movement of physical training and sports to build a cultural life. Sectors, organizations and localities in the district regularly propagate and disseminate to the people the Resolution of the 5th Central Committee (VIII term) on "Building and developing an advanced Vietnamese culture with strong national identity"; Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW (XI term) on "Building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development"... At the same time, the district has proactively developed a plan to develop the movement in each specific stage, integrating the contents of the movement of physical training and sports to build a cultural life with other movements, campaigns and emulations.
Along with that, the district has paid attention to, directed, and mobilized resources to build a system of grassroots cultural and sports institutions to serve the entertainment needs of the people. Up to now, localities in the district have completed the approval of the planning of the cultural and sports institutions system associated with the planning of new rural construction; integrated the issued mechanisms and policies with the budget in the National Target Program on New Rural Construction; mobilized and called for socialization to build and improve the quality of activities of the cultural and sports institutions system.
On that basis, most villages, hamlets and neighborhoods in the district have built a system of cultural houses, playgrounds, training grounds and invested in purchasing equipment for recreational activities. From there, promoting cultural and sports activities among the people to develop more and more strongly. Currently, the whole district has established hundreds of clubs and art troupes operating effectively. In particular, the most prominent are in communes such as Cam Luong, Cam Quy, Cam Tu... The movement "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" continues to be developed widely and strongly, attracting a large number of people from all walks of life to participate in exercise. According to statistics, every year the whole district has over 32,000 people participating in regular physical exercise and sports, reaching 35.5% of the population; 2,400 sports households, reaching 31% of households; 340 effective physical exercise and sports clubs.
Along with that, the movement to build cultural villages and residential groups in the district has now developed into a widespread mass movement in both quantity and quality, receiving active response from all levels, sectors and the majority of people.
In cultural villages, hamlets, and residential groups, village covenants and conventions are established in accordance with the democratic regulations of “People know, people discuss, people do, people inspect”. The content of the conventions inherits and selects good customs and traditions, eliminates bad customs, develops healthy cultural activities, and puts them into practice in life. Thanks to that, the spirit of mutual love and mutual assistance has been promoted, helping to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty among the people; raising awareness of community self-management; building a civilized lifestyle, practicing thrift in weddings, funerals, and festivals; preserving and promoting cultural heritages and good customs and traditions; preventing and repelling social evils and creating a solid foundation for new rural construction.
The movement to build “Cultural families” has been widely deployed to every village, hamlet, residential group, agency, unit, enterprise and has become a major campaign in the whole district, receiving active response from all families and clans. Creating a green - clean - beautiful landscape, village roads, and alleys is also of interest to residential areas in the district. Many localities have invested in building campuses, trees, welcome gates, etc. to create a cool environment, contributing to improving the quality of life. Along with that, mass organizations in the district have built and effectively implemented models to ensure environmental sanitation. Typical models include "Planting flowers to replace weeds, building green, clean, and beautiful roads" by the Women's Union; "River without waste" by the Farmers' Association; "Legal bookcase" by the Veterans' Association; "Protecting the homeland river", "Volunteer Saturday", "Green Sunday" by the Youth Union, etc.
With the efforts of the entire political system and the consensus of the people, the movement of physical training and sports to build a new countryside in the district has really spread, bringing practical results. The movement has contributed to changing the appearance of the villages, gradually improving the people's lives.
Promoting the achieved results, in the coming time, the district will continue to promote propaganda work, improve the quality and effectiveness of the movement of physical training and sports to build cultural families, cultural villages and hamlets. At the same time, organize inspection, evaluation and recognition of cultural titles to ensure substance, publicity, democracy, objectivity, accuracy and standards. Focus on building a cultural lifestyle, a healthy cultural environment, repelling social evils, creating changes in implementing a civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals and festivals. At the same time, pay attention to building and improving the quality of activities of the system of cultural and sports institutions from the district to the grassroots level...
