Dak Nong press agencies focus on promoting Party congresses at all levels

According to the report, in the third quarter, the direction and management of the press continued to be maintained in a disciplined manner, with close coordination. Through that, it created conditions for the press and media to operate and play a leading role in information, orienting public opinion, effectively serving the implementation of the political tasks of the Party Committee and the provincial government. Press and media activities comply with the Party's regulations and the Press Law.

Comrade Vu Ngoc Tu, Editor-in-Chief of Dak Nong Newspaper, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association, pointed out some difficulties in establishing economic and technical norms.

The Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee lead and direct the improvement of the effectiveness of the work of verifying and responding to press information; implementing the regulations on coordination, management, operation, provision and use of information on the Dak Nong province's source information system. The province directs the propaganda work of party congresses at all levels; develops economic and technical norms and unit prices for producing press products; deploys contents towards the 100th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025) in the province; deploys the 9th Dak Nong Provincial Press Award in 2024.

Information work in the press has been proactive and timely, closely following the orientation; reflecting quite comprehensively the fields of economics, politics, culture, society, national defense and security; bringing the Party's resolutions into life, focusing on key issues.

Comrade Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh proposed to organize a scientific workshop on UNESCO Dak Nong Global Volcanic Geopark

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh proposed to organize a scientific workshop on Dak Nong UNESCO Global Volcanic Geopark in conjunction with the event of Dak Nong Geopark being re-recognized as "Dak Nong UNESCO Global Geopark" for the period 2024 - 2027 and serving the construction of documents for the 13th Provincial Party Congress.

Concluding the conference, comrade Bui Huy Thanh, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, highly appreciated the efforts of the press agencies, especially prioritizing information on outstanding achievements in various fields of the province.

Despite many difficulties, the Provincial People's Committee always pays attention to investing resources in press agencies to effectively carry out information and propaganda work.
