(CTO) - While constructing the road from Tri Phai commune to the center of Thoi Binh district, Ca Mau province, a road roller ran over and killed a worker at the construction site.
Two road rollers were involved in the accident.
On May 25, the People's Committee of Thoi Binh commune, Thoi Binh district, confirmed that a rare traffic accident had just occurred in the area, in which a road roller crushed and killed a worker at a construction site.
The incident occurred on the afternoon of May 25, in Hamlet 4, Thoi Binh Commune (on the road from Tri Phai Commune to the center of Thoi Binh District). When Mr. D.DP (23 years old) was driving the road roller BS 69LA-0118 to smooth the road surface, he hit a man (65 years old), a worker at the construction site. The collision caused the man to fall and was run over by the road roller BS 69SA-0192, which was also under construction, killing him on the spot.
The person who caused the accident and the victim were both workers at a construction company in Ca Mau City. The authorities have drawn up a report and handed over the dead man’s body to his family for burial.
