On October 19, the British Embassy in Hanoi and the British Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (BritCham Vietnam) held a press conference for the charity running event - BritCham Charity Fun Run 2023.

Continuing the success over the years, BritCham Vietnam, with the support of British University Vietnam (BUV), organized the BritCham Charity Fun Run 2023 on November 5 at Ecopark urban area, Hung Yen, Hanoi.
In his opening remarks, BritCham Vietnam Chairman Christopher Jeffery affirmed that fundraising for charity and helping the community is an important part of BritCham’s policy. Over the past 22 years, BritCham has reached out to those in need through charities such as Saigon Children, Christina Noble, Newborns Vietnam & Blue Dragon.

BritCham Charity Fun Run 2023 aims to encourage sports, enhance community spirit, especially raise charity funds in many fields such as: education, health care, natural disaster prevention, helping the lives of Vietnamese people to be better. This is a useful playground for everyone, from the Vietnamese business community to international friends.
British University Vietnam Communications Director Vo Hong Hanh said that the BritCham Charity Fun Run event is held annually in two major cities, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, attracting more than 130,000 participants and raising VND13 billion, with contributions from 90 charitable sponsors in Vietnam.

BritCham Vietnam focuses its resources on charitable activities to improve the quality of life and create opportunities for people in rural Vietnam. BritCham’s charitable projects bring positive and lasting impacts to society. This is a practical demonstration of the social responsibility of the British Business Group in Vietnam.
