On the morning of September 18, the Provincial Party Standing Committee held the opening ceremony of a training course to update knowledge for cadres under the management of the Provincial Party Standing Committee in 2023.

Speaking at the opening of the training course, Comrade Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council affirmed: In recent years, the training and fostering of cadres has always been directed and implemented effectively by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Party committees at all levels in the province, which has been highly appreciated by the Central Organizing Committee. Every year, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee issues a plan for training and fostering leaders and managers, through which thousands of cadres from the province to the grassroots are sent to attend training and fostering courses inside and outside the province, contributing to improving the quality of the cadre team. In addition, the organization of training and updating of knowledge for cadres under the management of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee is maintained regularly by the province every year, helping cadres to raise awareness, ideological stance, broaden their vision, innovate their thinking and equip them with more skills and methods of leadership and management, thereby effectively implementing the tasks of the industry, locality, agency and unit.
To make the training course most effective, he suggested that the trainees arrange and allocate their time scientifically to fully participate in the content and program of the class. Uphold the sense of responsibility, seriously study, research, and fully grasp the content conveyed. Increase exchanges and discussions, especially on new issues, difficulties, and obstacles in the locality and unit to jointly remove and resolve.
During 2 days (September 18-19), over 350 trainees who are cadres under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee listened to 3 topics.
On the morning of September 18, comrade Ngo Dong Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, delivered a presentation on the topic "Socio-economic situation in the country, region and the world in 2023, forecast for the coming time; orientation for Thai Binh to become a developed province in the Red River Delta region" with 4 main contents: Overview of the achievements of the country's 35 innovations; socio-economic development results of Thai Binh province from 2015 to present; goals and tasks until 2025, vision to 2030, 2050; some key tasks and solutions.
He emphasized: To achieve the goals set by the 20th Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term, striving to build Thai Binh into a fairly developed province by 2025, to catch up with the leading group by 2030 and to be a developed province in the Red River Delta by 2045, the province needs to continue to synchronously and effectively implement the tasks and solutions set out in the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, especially development breakthroughs, focusing on 3 key stages, specifically: Focus on synchronously building socio-economic infrastructure, especially traffic infrastructure connecting key traffic axes in the province with economic centers of the Northern coastal region. Build and develop the Economic Zone into a key and driving force for economic development of the province. Develop dynamic urban areas. Promote the development of advanced science and technology applications (high technology), focusing on the application of biotechnology, post-harvest technology and processing to serve agricultural development and people's lives. Improve the quality of human resources; focus on high-quality human resources to meet the requirements of socio-economic development. Develop a marine-oriented economy to create breakthrough developments in a number of areas: seaports, energy (wind power, gas power), entertainment services, resorts, marine ecology... Expand the space for reclaiming the sea to create land funds for functional activities; forming a synchronous industrial - urban - service space, attractive coastal ecological landscape... Besides, all levels, all sectors, especially leaders, leaders and managers at all levels must uphold the sense of responsibility, on the basis of closely following the goals, tasks and solutions set out in the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, effectively organizing and implementing them, making practical contributions to the overall socio-economic development of the province.
On the afternoon of September 18, students listened to Prof. Dr. Phung Huu Phu, former Permanent Vice Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, deliver a speech on the topic "Promoting the building and rectification of the Party and the political system; resolutely preventing, repelling, and strictly handling cadres and party members who have degraded in political ideology, ethics, and lifestyle, and manifested "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and lifestyle".

According to Prof. Dr. Phung Huu Phu, entering a new stage of development, our country continues to face many difficulties and challenges. The four dangers that the Party has pointed out are still present, and in some cases are even more severe; the degradation of political ideology, morality, lifestyle, "self-evolution", and "self-transformation" are still complicated. Therefore, it is necessary to attach special importance to and bring the work of Party building and rectification to a new level, closely linked with the building of a clean and strong political system. This is a task of vital significance to the survival of the Party and the socialist regime in our country.
Comrade Vu Kim Cu, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment spoke at the training and knowledge update class.
