In order to enhance the spirit of solidarity, create a healthy and practical playground, and a joyful and exciting atmosphere for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers, the Ministry of Information and Communications will organize the Northern Region Information and Communications Sports Festival in 2024.

Participants in the Sports Festival include the coalition of units under the Ministry's Agencies (18 Nguyen Du), the coalition of units under the Radio Frequency Department Building, the coalition of units under the Telecommunications Department Building, the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology, the Press Department and the Central Post Office.

In addition, the Sports Festival also had the participation of major press agencies such as Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam, Vietnam News Agency and Nhan Dan Newspaper.

Departments of Information and Communications from 26 provinces and cities in the Northern region will also participate, including Hanoi, Bac Giang, Bac Kan, Bac Ninh and many other provinces.

In particular, large enterprises in the IT&T industry such as Viettel, VNPT, MobiFone, CMC, FPT, Misa, VNPost, VTC, Hanoi Telecom,... will also participate, creating a rich and colorful playground, affirming the spirit of solidarity, exchange and learning in the whole industry.

According to the Ministry of Information and Communications, the 2024 Traditional Sports Festival of the Information and Communications Industry is an exciting and lively playground for officials, civil servants, public employees and workers in the Information and Communications Industry, contributing to creating solidarity and cohesion between agencies, units and localities.

This is also an opportunity to meet, exchange and learn, share experiences in management, expertise and profession, contributing to the successful implementation of assigned tasks.

The organization of the sports festival also shows the concern of the leaders of the Ministry of Information and Communications and its agencies and units, the Departments of Information and Communications and businesses in the industry for taking care of the health and spirit of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers.

The 2024 traditional sports festival of the Information and Communications industry will have 7 competitions including: Football, tennis, badminton, table tennis, cross-country running, tug of war, and sack jumping.

The sports festival will take place on November 15 and 16 at Viettel Academy (Thach That, Hanoi). In the previous event, the traditional sports festival of the Information and Communications industry gathered more than 700 athletes from the northern provinces.
