The starting point of the project is on National Highway 32C, in Phung Nguyen Commune, Lam Thao District; the end point is in Van Xuan Commune, Tam Nong District. The bridge is 20.5m wide, ensuring 4 lanes for motor vehicles.
The bridge is constructed using reinforced concrete beams and prestressed reinforced concrete. The main bridge consists of 3 continuous, balanced cantilever beam spans; reinforced concrete abutments and piers, and bored pile foundations.
The road connecting the two ends of the bridge ensures the scale of a level III plain road, with a design speed of 80km/h. The total investment is over 635 billion VND.
After more than 2 months, the construction unit has completed 79 bored piles for the new Phong Chau bridge, 10 days ahead of schedule as committed. Taking advantage of favorable weather, the unit is pouring concrete to cover the bottom of the pier, driving piles on the dike, digging the foundation to build the foundation and the pier body, and casting the bridge girders.
