The Ministry of Public Security sent a letter of commendation to Thanh Hoa Provincial Police for their achievements in dismantling a large-scale counterfeit goods production and trading ring.

On July 7, Major General Nguyen Van Long, Deputy Minister of Public Security, sent a letter of commendation to Thanh Hoa Provincial Police for their achievements in dismantling a large-scale production and trade ring of counterfeit food products nationwide.

The letter stated that in June 2023, the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security were informed by the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police of the results of organizing the fight and dismantling a large-scale production and trading line of fake food products nationwide, arresting and prosecuting 6 subjects, seizing more than 2,700 kg of fake ingredients used to make milk tea, preventing the supply of thousands of tons of fake milk tea to the consumer market.

This is an outstanding achievement, demonstrating the determination and high sense of responsibility of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, especially Thanh Hoa City Police and the Economic, Position and Environmental Crime Investigation Police Team under Thanh Hoa City Police in implementing the direction of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security on preventing and combating smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods.

The results of the investigation and discovery of the case have contributed to ensuring a healthy business environment, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of enterprises, the interests of consumers and the health of the people, while deterring and preventing organized and professional crimes that violate economic management order, destabilize the market, and harm the interests, health, and even lives of consumers, especially young people.
