On January 18, according to VTC News, the Department of Investigation Police on Corruption, Economic Crimes, and Smuggling of the Ministry of Public Security (Department of Economic Police) has just issued an official dispatch requesting the People's Committee of Binh Duong province to coordinate in preventing transactions, real estate transfers, capital contributions... for Phu Hong Thinh Company and related individuals.

According to the dispatch, the Economic Police Department is verifying the case with signs of "Violating regulations on management and use of State assets causing loss and waste; Violating regulations on land management; Tax evasion" occurring at the People's Committee of Binh Duong province, the People's Committee of Thuan An city, Phu Hong Thinh Real Estate Company Limited (now Phu Hong Thinh Company) and a number of related units.
Verification is carried out as assigned by the Head of the Investigation Police Agency of the Ministry of Public Security.
To serve the verification and recovery of assets for the state, based on Articles 05, 88 and 168 of the Criminal Procedure Code, the People's Committee of Binh Duong province is requested to direct the following units: Department of Natural Resources and Environment to provide information, prevent all transfer transactions, and update information on land use rights and assets attached to land.
The Department of Planning and Investment provides information and temporarily suspends the transfer of capital contributions at legal entities and real estate projects in Binh Duong province for transactions related to organizations and individuals until there is a document of clearance from the Economic Police Department of the Ministry of Public Security.
The list of organizations and individuals proposed to block transactions includes: Phu Hong Thinh Company (address: 18B Nguyen Van Tiet, Binh Hoa Ward, Lai Thieu City, Thuan An City, Binh Duong); Pham Thi Huong; Pham Huu Duc (Director of Phu Hong Thinh Company); Pham Trong Khiem; Pham Duc Huy; Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy; Nguyen Dinh Thu and Vu Thi Lan Anh.
Pursuant to the request of the Economic Police Department, on December 28, 2023, Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Minh issued a document directing the prevention of transactions and transfers of capital and assets to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the Department of Planning and Investment of Binh Duong province.
