The Provincial Military Command has directed agencies and units to step up propaganda and education for officers and soldiers about the great significance of the Dien Bien Phu Victory; the responsibility of the young generation for the task of building and defending the Fatherland in the new situation. Coordinate with the sister units in the stationed area to organize well the activities of visiting and giving gifts to families with meritorious services; cultural and artistic exchanges with many highly educational contents, contributing to ensuring a good material and spiritual life for officers and soldiers. Organize sports festivals and friendly sports competitions in the following events: tennis, football, volleyball, badminton, etc.
Agencies and units also coordinated with local Party committees, authorities, organizations and people to organize the pouring of more than 1,000 m of new concrete roads; helped Anh Hong Kindergarten (Lao Cai city) clean the environment, pour concrete in the yard and internal roads; propagate and mobilize people to implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; fight against wrong views and distorted arguments of hostile forces; prevent social evils, contributing to helping the locality complete the targets on new rural construction.
The commemorative activities that have been taking place have become a widespread and practical political activity, contributing to promoting the propaganda of the great historical significance of the Dien Bien Phu Victory; educating the glorious tradition of the nation, the revolutionary nature, and the fine tradition of "Uncle Ho's Army". Thereby, fostering the trust of cadres, soldiers, and armed forces of the province in the Party, the State, and the Army; strengthening the solidarity and attachment between the army and the people; continuing to encourage and arouse national pride and self-esteem, patriotism, promoting the sense of self-reliance, self-improvement, raising the spirit of revolutionary vigilance, and being ready to receive and successfully complete all assigned tasks.
