At the event, Journalist Hoang Du - Editor-in-Chief of Literature and Arts Times said that the preparation work and nomination process have been urgently deployed according to the promulgated Regulations. The Organizing Committee has sent a dispatch requesting nominations for typical literary and artistic events in 2024 to units under the Union, 10 Central Specialized Literature and Arts Associations, Provincial and Municipal Literature and Arts Associations and editorial offices of newspapers and magazines of Literature and Arts Associations. From this result, the Organizing Committee has compiled, held meetings, voted and selected 20 typical events to submit to the President of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations for approval.

The organizers said that the list of 15 typical literary and artistic events in 2024 will be announced on January 1, 2025.
