Commending 46 typical and advanced collectives and individuals in the movement of All people protecting national security for the period 2019

On the morning of May 22, the Provincial Police coordinated with the Provincial Veterans Association, the Provincial Farmers' Association, and the Provincial Women's Union to organize a conference to commend typical advanced members of the Veterans' Association, Farmers' Association, and Women's Union in the movement of All people protecting national security for the period 2019 - 2024.

Attending the conference were leaders of the Provincial Police, the Provincial Veterans Association, the Provincial Farmers' Association, the Provincial Women's Union and districts, towns and cities; representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee; typical and advanced collectives and individuals in the movement of All people protecting national security in the period of 2019 - 2024.

During the period of 2019 - 2024, the Provincial Police and the Provincial Veterans Association, the Provincial Farmers' Association, and the Provincial Women's Union have coordinated well and implemented the movement of All People Protecting National Security, achieving many important results.

In propaganda work, the police force coordinated with all levels and sectors to organize 3,737 propaganda sessions with more than 242,300 participants; published 1,000 books on "Propaganda work with the movement of All people protecting national security in Lao Cai province", more than 42,800 leaflets, stickers and 8,600 newsletters and handbooks to propagate laws on crime prevention and drug prevention; built and periodically broadcast the column "Lao Cai Security"; coordinated with the Provincial Veterans Association, the Provincial Farmers' Association, the Provincial Women's Union to organize thousands of propaganda sessions to raise awareness of national defense and security for members and the people. The work of organizing training for members on building the movement of All people protecting national security was focused on.

In particular, the police at all levels built, maintained and replicated 73 models in the movement of the whole people protecting the security of the Fatherland with 2,069 model points. The Provincial Farmers' Association deployed the construction of 220 self-management models of security and order with 4,696 participating households and 76 "Farmers with the Law" clubs with 3,500 participating members; the Provincial Veterans' Association built 193 model points, typical advanced examples in the movement of the whole people protecting the security of the Fatherland; The Women's Union at all levels has effectively maintained 733 models, including 28 "Drug prevention, crime prevention, HIV/AIDS prevention" clubs, 424 "Community communication team" models, 16 "Women with the law" clubs, 24 "Women's self-management team of border and boundary markers" models, 42 "Women's team without husbands, drug addicts and law violators" models, 23 "Women's team without child marriage" models... In building the movement of the whole people protecting national security in conjunction with campaigns and patriotic emulation movements, there are many typical and advanced collectives and individuals who have achieved many achievements.

At the conference, delegates discussed and shared experiences in overcoming shortcomings and limitations, and proposed solutions to improve the effectiveness of coordination in building the movement of the People to protect the security of the Fatherland in the province. Typical examples include experience in the movement "Women in the management and education of children in the family not to commit crimes and social evils"; experience in managing, educating and helping people who have made mistakes in the community by the police force; promoting the role of the Veterans Association in coordinating, propagating and mobilizing people to voluntarily hand over weapons, explosives, support tools and fireworks...

At the conference, 46 collectives and individuals were commended for their achievements in implementing the movement of All People Protecting National Security in the period of 2019 - 2024. Of which, the President of the Provincial Women's Union awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 collectives and 5 individuals; the President of the Provincial Farmers' Association awarded Certificates of Merit to 6 collectives and 3 individuals; the Director of the Provincial Police Department awarded Certificates of Merit to 21 outstanding collectives and 9 individuals.
