On January 27, according to a source from VietNamNet , the People's Committee of Ca Mau City (Ca Mau Province) has decided to amend and supplement part of the decision to impose administrative penalties related to the "most beautiful villa in Ca Mau" built illegally by Mr. HAT in Hamlet 6, Tan Thanh Commune, Ca Mau City.
Specifically, the decision states: "Forced to maintain the current land use status as at the time of detecting the violation and must carry out land procedures according to regulations within 30 (working) days for the area of 2,261.58m2.
Forced to restore the original condition of the land before the violation for the area of 1,303.22m2 (belonging to plots 441 and 442, map sheet 1, violation location Tan Thanh commune, Ca Mau city)".
According to the above decision, the entire main house, outbuildings, wooden houses... with an area of 2,261.58m2 will be converted from aquaculture land to residential land. Some other items such as fences and landscapes must be dismantled and restored to their original state.
Previously, Facebook account HT continuously shared images and live streamed the construction process of the villa, which was introduced as "the most beautiful in Ca Mau province".
Through inspection, this project was built on land that had not yet changed its intended use and was proposed to temporarily suspend construction.
Both of these plots of land are not eligible to change the purpose of use from aquaculture land to rural residential land, because they are not suitable for construction planning.
Afterwards, Mr. T. was fined 22.5 million VND by the authorities; at the same time, he was forced to restore the land to its original condition before the violation.
