On November 13, Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department visited and directed the Fair - Exhibition within the framework of the series of events "Vietnam - Laos Special Friendship Festival 2023" organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications in coordination with the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province in Hue from November 11 to 15, 2023.

At the Exhibition, Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia once again reaffirmed the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos. Since the establishment of Vietnam - Laos diplomatic relations (September 5, 1962), the relationship between the two countries has achieved many achievements in all fields and has become a great friendship, special tradition and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.

The program "Vietnam - Laos Special Friendship Festival 2023" is solemnly organized with the participation of many Central and local departments, ministries, branches and people of the two countries. The photo exhibition at the "Vietnam - Laos Special Friendship Festival 2023" brings together a total of 200 photos divided into 4 themes: History of 61 years of special friendship between Vietnam and Laos; Vietnam and Laos on the path of development; Outstanding achievements in Vietnam - Laos cooperation in the field of information and communication; Thua Thien Hue accompanies the country's development.

The fair - exhibition "Vietnam - Laos Special Friendship Festival 2023" has nearly 60 booths, organized with the highlight being the booths of information publications and media programs in Lao language of Vietnam News Agency, Nhan Dan Newspaper, Voice of Vietnam Radio, National External Information Portal Vietnam.vn. In addition, there is also the companionship of information technology and telecommunications enterprises such as Viettel Global, VNPT, VTC; enterprises operating in the fields of tourism, trade... with typical OCOP products of Hue and the provinces and cities of the Central region.
