Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long presented Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee Chairman to 8 teachers of Huynh Thuc Khang High School.

Huynh Thuc Khang High School is the school with the longest history in Nghe An with 104 years of establishment and development, the predecessor is Vinh National School (established in 1920) and Huynh Thuc Khang Specialized School (established in 1947). This is a famous school for its tradition of good teaching and good learning, and is one of the cradles that has trained many talented people for the country.

Huynh Thuc Khang High School currently has 61 classes with a total of 2,798 students, of which more than 1,100 students are entering grade 10. The quality of grade 10 admission in recent years has always been at the top of the non-specialized high school sector in the province. The school's academic performance and conduct are ranked as good and excellent at over 95% each year; the provincial excellent student competition and the science and technology innovation competition are among the top in the province; the annual university and college entrance exam passing rate is over 97%.

With its long tradition and achievements in recent years, Huynh Thuc Khang High School is recognized as the leading unit in the non-specialized high school sector of the province. The school has been awarded many Certificates of Merit and emulation flags by the Government, the Ministry of Education and Training, and the Provincial People's Committee. The school was awarded the Labor Medal, the Independence Medal by the State and especially the first high school in Nghe An to be awarded the title of Labor Hero.
