Military Hospital 175 constantly improves the effectiveness of mass mobilization work at the unit.

On the evening of January 12, the Institute of Trauma and Orthopedics, Military Hospital 175 organized the program "Skilled Civil Affairs Contest and mass cultural exchange to celebrate the Spring of Giap Thin 2024".

Participating in the "Skillful Mass Mobilization" contest are 4 teams from the Institute of Trauma and Orthopedics, Military Hospital 175. In addition, the program also has 4 units inside and outside the army in Go Vap District participating in the mass cultural exchange to celebrate the New Year of the Dragon 2024.

The teams competed enthusiastically in 3 parts: Introducing the agency and unit; Knowledge and handling situations contest; Propaganda contest of typical operational models reflecting the reality of the unit's mass mobilization work and impressive situations and stories of mass mobilization activities with propaganda and replication significance...

Through the contest, the teams have shown careful preparation in researching and learning about knowledge related to mass mobilization work as well as building contest scenarios that are close to the actual situation of the hospital and the professional work of each unit. Thereby, the contest has brought many meaningful messages, good, creative and effective ways to propagate and mobilize cadres, civil servants and workers to perform well the mass mobilization work in the Institute of Trauma and Orthopedics in particular and Military Hospital 175 in general.

In addition to the teams' performances, the program combines the performances of "Spring 2024 Cultural Exchange" with the participation of 4 units inside and outside the army in Go Vap District such as: Factory Z755 - Ministry of National Defense , Air Defense Brigade 77 - Military Region 7, Go Vap District Youth Union; Nguyen Van Troi High School - Go Vap... During the program, the audience enjoyed excellent mass cultural performances.

Lieutenant Colonel, Dr. Phan Dinh Mung, Deputy Director of the Institute of Trauma and Orthopedics, Military Hospital 175, said: This year's Skillful Mass Mobilization Competition is an opportunity for the Institute to comprehensively evaluate the quality and effectiveness of mass mobilization work and the qualifications and capacity of the cadres working in mass mobilization at the Institute. At the same time, it is an opportunity for units to expand exchanges, learn from each other, and exchange experiences on good and creative ways of doing things, and effective mass mobilization models in implementing the emulation movement "Skillful Mass Mobilization", building "Good Mass Mobilization Units", contributing to the good implementation of mass mobilization tasks in particular and the function of the army's working force in general in the new situation...".

The program also honored outstanding individuals and groups who have made many contributions to the Institute of Trauma and Orthopedics in 2023 and presented Tet gifts to relatives of officers and employees on duty in Truong Sa and participating in the United Nations peacekeeping force in South Sudan.

The Institute of Trauma and Orthopedics, Military Hospital 175 has made great strides in both scale and level, increasingly affirming its position as a specialized field of Military Hospital 175 and the leading brand in Trauma and Orthopedics both inside and outside the military in the Southern region. Up to now, the Institute has deployed and mastered more than 1,500 techniques and procedures. Among them, there are many strengths that are becoming brands, gradually affirming its leading position in the field of Trauma and Orthopedics such as: hip, knee, shoulder replacement; arthroscopic reconstruction of knee, ankle, shoulder ligaments; limb fusion; minimally invasive bone fusion; treatment of sequelae of trauma, wounds, treatment of multiple trauma, rehabilitation of lower limb paralysis for 2 years... The number of surgeries performed in 5 years (2018 - 2023) increased by over 300%, mainly special surgeries, type I, type II (regularly accounting for over 90%).
