On the evening of November 30, at the Provincial Theater, the People's Committee of Vinh Phuc province coordinated with the Department of Performing Arts, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize the closing ceremony, summary and award ceremony of the first National Singing, Dancing and Music Festival in 2024.
Attending the event were comrade Dinh Thi Mai, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department; comrade Ta Quang Dong, Deputy Minister of Culture - Sports and Tourism, Head of the Festival Steering Committee; comrade Nguyen Tuan Khanh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; comrade Luong Duc Minh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Colonel Nguyen Van Xuan, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command; comrade Nguyen Thanh Tung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Tam Duong District Party Committee; comrade Pham Quang Nguyen, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; comrade Nguyen Khac Hieu, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Festival Steering Committee.

Congratulating the success of the festival, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong emphasized: The artists and actors have brought to the art-loving audience many emotions, colorful perspectives and deep impressions. The programs, plays, singing, dancing and music performances brought to the festival not only demonstrate the quintessence of Vietnamese and world performing arts but also contain many precious historical and cultural values of the nation.

He suggested that in the coming time, the agencies, functional units in charge as well as art units continue to pay attention and invest carefully in human resources, materials and training time for the competitions; have special preferential policies to attract, nurture and train talented young artists and actors to be the next generation.
On behalf of the Art Council of the 1st National Music, Dance and Dance Festival in 2024, People's Artist Nguyen Quang Vinh, Chairman of the Hanoi Music Association, Chairman of the Art Council, assessed that this year's Festival has many programs of high artistic quality, with groups boldly exploring and creating performing arts and forms of expression, including many musical genres in the program; many music, dance and dance programs are invested in and elaborately developed, with consistent scripts, closely following the theme of the program. Artists and actors perform well in each role, bringing valuable works to the audience. However, there are still programs built on existing platforms that have been used for many years, without innovation; directing work has not been properly promoted.
The solo performance of the Zither "Listen to the River Tell" by Vinh Phuc Art Troupe won the Silver Medal at the Festival.
At the program, the Organizing Committee announced and awarded prizes to outstanding programs, plays, performances, roles and creative elements at the festival. On this occasion, the Vietnam Dance Artists Association awarded Certificates of Merit to the collective of dance artists from troupes and theaters, and the Vietnam Musicians Association awarded individuals with good achievements at the festival.
Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department Dinh Thi Mai and Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong presented awards to units with programs and plays winning Gold Medals.
Vinh Phuc Art Troupe won 2 Gold Medals with the dance performance "Hong nhan" and female solo "Quoc mau Tay Thien". 3 Silver Medals with the performance of the zither solo "Nghe dong song ke"; ensemble "Tay Thien van lo" and dance "Hon sen"; and 1 Silver Medal for the program and play "Vinh Phuc - My homeland".
The dance group of Vinh Phuc Provincial Art Theater was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Vietnam Dance Artists Association. Artist Bui Thanh Nha of Vinh Phuc Art Troupe was awarded the Outstanding Traditional Drummer Award by the Vietnam Musicians Association.
Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Nguyen Tuan Khanh and Director of the Department of Performing Arts Nguyen Xuan Bac presented awards to creative elements and plays participating in the Festival.
The first National Music, Dance and Dance Festival in 2024 took place at Vinh Phuc Provincial Theater from November 21 to 30 with the participation of nearly 1,000 artists, actors and technicians from 13 music, dance and dance art units across the country. After 9 days and nights of performance, the festival was a great success, leaving many emotions and good echoes in the hearts of the audience as well as the artists and actors of the art units participating in the festival.
