After half a day of urgent and responsible work, on the morning of February 20, the People's Council of Hai Duong province closed the 29th session (the first thematic session in 2025), unanimously passing 13 resolutions.
Speaking at the closing session, Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council Le Van Hieu emphasized that these are important resolutions to organize the implementation of requirements and tasks on streamlining the apparatus, efficiency, effectiveness, and efficiency in operations and socio-economic development, and strengthening national defense and security in 2025 and the following years.
The Provincial People's Council requests the Provincial People's Committee to pay attention and direct all levels, branches, units and localities to immediately organize and implement the resolutions to ensure effectiveness.
Some key contents are to continue to closely follow the direction of the Central Government, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Council to complete the arrangement of the organization and apparatus of agencies and units in the province, put new units into operation from March 1, ensuring smooth operation, not affecting activities serving people, businesses and organizations.
Directing the timely and effective implementation of mechanisms, policies and regimes in the arrangement of the organizational apparatus combined with the implementation of attracting and making use of talents. Building and protecting a team of cadres and civil servants with expertise, good moral qualities, high sense of responsibility, daring to think and dare to act for the common good.
Regarding the resolutions passed at the meeting, comrade Le Van Hieu proposed to resolutely implement the 2025 Public Investment Plan to complete the 5-year Medium-Term Public Investment Plan 2021 - 2025. Focus on eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, to be completed by June 2025.
Party committees, authorities, and the Fatherland Front at all levels actively organize and mobilize businesses, philanthropists, and people from all walks of life to promote the spirit of mutual love and solidarity, join hands with the State to successfully achieve the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province, creating the best housing conditions for people.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Council emphasized that 2025 is the final year of implementing the 5-year socio-economic development plan 2021 - 2025, the year of breakthrough, the year of completing the implementation of the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress, the year of organizing Party Congresses at all levels and organizing the reorganization of the apparatus in the entire political system.
Following the development momentum of 2024, Hai Duong province has developed a scenario of a 12% increase in gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in 2025. This is a very high target. The Provincial People's Committee and the People's Committees of districts, cities and towns need to urgently implement the goals, tasks and solutions for socio-economic development in the joint resolution approved by the Provincial People's Council at the end of 2024 session. Continue to closely coordinate with the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial People's Council committees in implementing the province's tasks.
