Attending the closing ceremony were leaders of the Lao Cai City Military Command, Lao Cai City Youth Union, along with many parents and 95 young "soldiers" participating in the experiential semester.

After 6 days of experience, the children had a meaningful and rewarding journey. They learned a number of skills such as: personal hygiene; arranging internal order; training in basic steps of formation and team command; training in martial arts, mock battle marches; equipped with skills to prevent kidnapping, child sexual abuse, prevent social evils, school drugs, traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting...


During the experiential learning process, the young “soldiers” were also educated about the history and traditions of the Vietnam People’s Army; traditional culture of ethnic groups in Lao Cai city. In addition, they had the opportunity to visit and experience the Provincial Museum, Provincial Library, President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site, border marker 102 and interact with soldiers of Lao Cai International Border Gate Border Guard Station…


The 2024 Young Soldiers Journey experience semester took place safely, joyfully, usefully, healthily, creating an environment of solidarity and discipline. The City Military Command, coordinators, union members, and youth with enthusiasm and responsibility managed and guided the children.
At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee commended and awarded Certificates of Excellent Mission Completion to 8 coordinators; and awarded Certificates of Excellent Mission Completion of the 2024 Young Soldiers Journey to 95 young "soldiers".
8 young "soldiers" were awarded the title of Best Soldier and 3 soldiers born in 2017 were awarded the certificate of Youngest Brave Soldier participating in the journey of young soldiers.
