Attending the closing ceremony were comrades: Tran Luu Quang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister; Le Quoc Minh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association; Nguyen Duc Loi - former Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association and delegates representing press agencies and press managers nationwide.

Within the framework of the 2024 National Press Festival, the Vietnam Journalists Association organized the National Press Forum for the first time. The Forum took place over 2 days with 12 sessions, including 2 opening and closing plenary sessions; 10 discussion sessions with attractive topics, related to the top concerns of press agencies and press management agencies.

With the expectation, this is an annual forum discussing issues related to the press life that are of interest to the domestic and international press and media. At the same time, the forum will also be a meeting place, exchanging and sharing experiences of leaders of press agencies, press managers, journalists as well as media and technology experts...

After 2 working days, delegates attended 10 in-depth discussion sessions with topics of interest to the press: Enhancing Party spirit and orientation in press activities; Building a cultural press environment; Data journalism and outstanding content strategy; Competitiveness of television in the AI ​​era; Dynamic broadcasting in the digital environment; Improving the quality of reports and investigative reports; Investing in and applying technology in newsrooms; Diversifying revenue sources of press agencies; Effective cooperation models between press, businesses and advertising agencies; Protecting press copyright in the digital age.

In his closing speech at the 2024 National Press Forum, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association Le Quoc Minh emphasized that the presentations and opinions of speakers, guests and interactions at the discussion sessions contributed to clarifying each topic of the forum; suggesting to journalists and press managers to apply innovative solutions, enhance strategies and practicality for press agencies to take advantage of opportunities, overcome difficulties and challenges, improve the quality and efficiency of press activities, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of press agencies in the current digital age.

With the exceptionally high-quality content of the discussions at the 2024 National Press Forum, the Vietnam Journalists Association hopes to realize the discussion contents and bring positive changes to the Vietnamese press in the current period.
