Over the past 15 years, the Vietnam Young Physicians Association has implemented many programs to provide free medical examinations and medicines to people in difficult circumstances across the country. With the support of Bayer, the association has more resources to develop and increase its scope and effectiveness, helping people raise awareness about health care and maintain a healthy lifestyle every day.

The drug donation program also marks the 30th anniversary of Bayer Vietnam.
On March 22, at the "Launching Ceremony of the free medical examination and treatment campaign combined with the transfer of medical technology to hospitals and ethnic minorities" in Cam An commune, Yen Binh district, Yen Bai province, Bayer Vietnam donated 500,000 boxes of vitamin and mineral effervescent tablets to the Vietnam Young Physicians Association.
The program was attended by Prof. Dr. Tran Van Thuan - Deputy Minister of Health, leaders of Yen Bai province and a team of doctors from the Vietnam Young Physicians Association network.
At the event, nearly 1,000 local people were screened, provided health consultations and received free medicine. Accordingly, the donation of 500,000 boxes of effervescent tablets supplementing vitamins and minerals by Bayer Vietnam will not only serve nearly 1,000 Yen Bai people but will also follow the Vietnam Young Physicians Association to 49 provinces and cities through the organization's medical examination and treatment activities.

This is the opening activity for Vietnam's journey of community health care in 2024, the year marking 3 decades of Bayer Group's presence in Vietnam.

Ensuring health for people in difficult circumstances, mountainous areas, and ethnic minority areas is always a concern of the health sector. The companionship and support from units such as Bayer Vietnam helps the association's humanitarian medical examination and treatment programs have more resources to develop and increase their scope and effectiveness.
The enhanced cooperation between Bayer Vietnam and the association helps people not only detect and treat diseases early but also raise awareness of health conditions, awareness of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and taking care of their health every day.
2 million boxes of effervescent tablets come to hospitals and medical facilities nationwide
Bayer Vietnam's goal in the drug donation program is to donate 2 million boxes of vitamin and mineral effervescent tablets to hospitals and medical facilities in many provinces and cities in Vietnam. The program is approved by the Ministry of Health and is implemented in accordance with state regulations. From December 2023 to present, nearly 1.8 million boxes have been distributed to hospitals and medical facilities in many provinces and cities nationwide, including 500,000 products donated to the Vietnam Young Physicians Association.

The program aims to expand access to high-quality nutritional products for Vietnamese people, especially those in difficult circumstances; contribute to community health care; support and accompany the Ministry of Health in the goal of narrowing the gap in health care quality between localities.
