The Lancet Global Health Commission aims to address gaps in evidence-based guidance and identify best practices and new approaches to enable person-centred care.

The commissioners will collectively be responsible for completing the commission’s work over approximately two and a half years, starting in the second half of this year. Tasks include developing research questions, synthesizing existing evidence, and designing and conducting new research to advance person-centred care.

The group will apply this evidence base to develop policy and practice recommendations to deliver person-centred care in different contexts.

The Vietnam Young Physicians Association is one of the largest and fastest growing professional social organizations in the health sector in the country. With more than 90,000 members nationwide, the Vietnam Young Physicians Association has made many contributions to the care and improvement of people's health.

Over the past years, the Vietnam Young Physicians Association at all levels has implemented many programs and volunteer activities for the health of the entire population, promoting both the strengths of young physicians in the community as well as the role of the association as a "companion" for young physicians nationwide.

Many community health care programs have been implemented by the association such as free screening for people in provinces and cities and promoting communication on prevention and control of non-communicable diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, etc. and screening for these diseases.
