Immediately after its establishment (May 23), the CAND-T&T Table Tennis Club participated in the 2024 National Table Tennis Championship in Nha Trang. Although the goal was only to win 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal, and 1 bronze medal, coach Vu Manh Cuong and his team excellently completed their mission, winning 2 gold medals and 3 silver medals. This is a worthy achievement, especially since the whole team maintained a reasonable strategy and competed with great determination. In particular, the players of the CAND-T&T Table Tennis Club took advantage of even the smallest opportunities.
Not stopping there, at the 2024 National Youth, Teenager and Children's Table Tennis Tournament held in Da Nang (late July), the CAND- T&T Table Tennis Club continued to compete excellently, winning the overall championship with 13 gold medals, 7 silver medals and 10 bronze medals. This achievement for the second time far exceeded the target set by the delegation. Previously, the coaching staff and team leaders only set a target of winning 8 gold medals at the tournament.
Notably, the CAND-T&T Table Tennis Club demonstrated its dominance in the doubles, men's and women's team events. On an individual level, two young talents Dinh Anh Hoang and Tran Mai Ngoc shone brightly, still proving their position as the players who have reached the highest podium of the 32nd SEA Games.
Athletes and coaches of CAND-T&T Table Tennis Club have continuously performed excellently in the last 2 tournaments.
Mr. Do Quang Hien - Founder, Chairman of the Strategic Committee of T&T Group directly congratulated and rewarded the coaches and athletes.
With the achievements, Coach Vu Manh Cuong and his excellent students such as Dinh Anh Hoang, Tran Mai Ngoc, Le Dinh Duc... received big rewards from T&T Group. Accordingly, the coaches and athletes of CAND-T&T Table Tennis Club received rewards with a total amount of nearly 1.5 billion VND.
Notably, this is a record bonus in the history of Vietnamese table tennis. After the 32nd SEA Games, T&T Group also awarded 1.15 billion VND for the outstanding achievements of Vietnamese table tennis athletes and coaches. Notably, players Dinh Anh Hoang - Tran Mai Ngoc won the historic gold medal.
Mr. Do Vinh Quang - Vice President and Deputy General Director of T&T Group said: "After 16 years of development, T&T Table Tennis Club has gradually affirmed its position, contributing many athletes to the national team and the national youth team. After the group and the CAND Sports Association implemented cooperation, thanks to the drastic and close direction of the leaders of both sides, the CAND-T&T Club has achieved impressive achievements in 2024. This is the beginning for the team's coaches and athletes to continue to make efforts and contribute in the coming time".
Meanwhile, Major General Le Xuan Duc - Deputy Director of the Traffic Police Department, Chief of Office of the CAND Sports Association shared: "This is a great honor for CAND sports when coordinating with T&T Group. Minister of Public Security, Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang sent his congratulations on the success and achievements that the table tennis team has achieved in the last two tournaments. With the attention of the leaders, we hope that CAND-T&T sports will reach further, affirming the team's colors and flags".

Mr. Do Vinh Quang gave many compliments to the achievements that the CAND-T&T Table Tennis Club has achieved.
The achievements that CAND-T&T table tennis has just achieved are the first important milestones, a turning point for the special socialization and professionalization model. CAND table tennis is entering a new period, facing difficulties in policies, funding, and mobilizing resources from society. Therefore, the companionship of T&T Group has brought about significant changes. Coach Vu Manh Cuong commented that if they continue to make efforts, CAND-T&T table tennis club can achieve more success, not only domestically but also internationally.
The CAND-T&T Table Tennis Club was established after the CAND Sports Association and T&T Group signed a memorandum of understanding on selecting and training table tennis athletes to compete for the CAND force in May 2024.
