According to Lao Dong, on July 29, the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Security Agency issued Notice No. 3384/TB-ANĐT-P4 on the arrest and temporary detention of Mr. Ho Dai Dung for the act of "illegal gambling" as prescribed in Clause 2, Article 321 of the Penal Code. Mr. Dung is currently being detained at B14 Detention Center of the Ministry of Public Security (in Thanh Tri District, Hanoi City). Notably, in the notice sent, the police agency listed Mr. Dung's job as an employee of Asean Slipform Company - a company headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City. Previously, on July 19, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang signed Decision No. 697, approving the results of the dismissal of Mr. Ho Dai Dung from the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Tho Province for the 2021-2026 term. Not long ago, the People's Committee of Phu Tho province also issued Document No. 2738/UBND-KGVX to the Department of Home Affairs of Phu Tho province regarding the study and proposal for job transfer and resignation from leadership and management positions. According to the document, the People's Committee of Phu Tho province received the Application for job transfer and resignation from leadership and management positions of Mr. Ho Dai Dung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, term 2021 - 2026 according to personal wishes. According to the reporter's investigation, Mr. Ho Dai Dung was born on August 30, 1972, hometown Nam Giang commune, Nam Dan district, Nghe An province. Degree: Master of Economics, Development; Senior Political Theory. Before being elected to the position of Vice Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee in 2018, Mr. Dung held the following positions: Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Phu Tho province, Secretary of Lam Thao District Party Committee (Phu Tho province)... After stopping working in the government system, Mr. Dung joined Asean Slipform Company of Mr. Ho Dai Minh.
