Group of young men arrested for chasing and beating people, swerving on the streets of Da Nang

On December 7, Hai Chau District Police, Da Nang City, announced that the unit had just issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused and temporarily detain 7 young men involved in the chase that injured the opponent and disturbed public order.

This group is between 16 and 18 years old (residing in Son Tra, Thanh Khe and Hai Chau districts), including: Luu Hoang Phuc, Nguyen Huu Quoc Hung, Nguyen Sa Na Quy, Vo Quoc An, Nguyen Hong Thien, Nguyen Thanh Dat and Tran Gia Bao.

Previously, on the evening of October 4, Luu Hoang Phuc's group of 12 people, riding motorbikes carrying weapons, traveled on the road to find Ho Thai Tuan's group (residing in Lien Chieu district) to resolve conflicts arising on social networks.

When discovering Nguyen Van Phong and Nguyen Trung Gia Bao (belonging to Ho Thai Tuan's group) in the area west of Tran Thi Ly overpass, the group chased them to the front of house number K176/05 Tong Phuoc Pho.

Here, Phong and Nguyen Trung Gia Bao fell off their motorbike and ran into an alley. However, Phuc's group caught up and attacked, causing Gia Bao to suffer 17% injuries.

After the incident, the subjects continued to drive at high speed (70-80km/h), weaving, revving, using weapons and pepper spray, causing public disorder.

Upon receiving the report, the Criminal Police - Economic - Drug Police Team of Hai Chau District Police began investigating and pursuing. By December 6, the authorities had clarified the actions of the related subjects and completed the case file, arresting people to serve the investigation.

Notably, among the arrested subjects, Nguyen Sa Na Quy was previously detained by Thanh Khe District Police for the same act.
