In response to the news that RMIT University has temporarily suspended enrollment for new courses at its Hanoi campus, a representative of RMIT University told Dan Tri reporter on August 29 that the school has recorded a very high demand for studying at a high-quality Australian-standard educational institution in Hanoi.

However, to ensure the best experience for students, the school has temporarily stopped accepting applications and deposit fees for the enrollment period starting in October 2024 in Hanoi.

The school will update information after reviewing the enrollment capacity of all programs available at this facility.

The school continues to accept new applications for all existing programs at the Saigon South and Da Nang campuses.

According to the school's confirmation, RMIT Vietnam is still operating normally and is licensed to operate at all campuses in South Saigon, Hanoi and Da Nang.

Graduates are awarded degrees by RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia, and all degrees are recognized globally, including Vietnam as well as other countries around the world.

Previously, in a report to Dan Tri newspaper, some parents said that their children were eligible to enter the school this year. However, the families were surprised by the news that RMIT University had temporarily suspended enrollment for new courses at its Hanoi campus.

"The school said my child can study at the campus in Ho Chi Minh City, but if it's that far away, we'd rather send him to study abroad," this parent said indignantly.

RMIT University Vietnam (The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology - RMIT) was established and started operating in 2000. RMIT University Vietnam is part of RMIT Melbourne - Australia's largest higher education institution.

Students studying at RMIT University Vietnam will graduate with a degree awarded by RMIT University in Melbourne, meeting the standards of the Australian education system. The degree from RMIT University is recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam.

In 2024, RMIT University Vietnam will conduct application review. Candidates must have graduated from high school and have an average score of 7.0 or higher in grade 12.

At the same time, to meet the English requirement, candidates need to have an IELTS score of 6.5, TOEFL iBT 79, Pearson Test of English (Academic) 58, C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency 176 or complete the Advanced course of the English for University Program at RMIT Vietnam.
