RMIT University Vietnam announces 53.5 billion VND scholarships

RMIT University Vietnam announced its 2025 scholarship program, with a total value of more than VND53.5 billion.

There are a total of 106 scholarships, of which 85 are awarded to new students studying foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate programs at RMIT Vietnam.

These scholarships are for all ambitious young people who want to make a positive change for themselves and their community. Another 21 scholarships will be awarded to current students.

The Full Scholarship is the most prestigious scholarship category of RMIT University Vietnam, providing 100% tuition fee for undergraduate programs. The University awards these scholarships to 7 high school students with excellent academic achievements, active participation in community activities and outstanding leadership potential.

Another full scholarship category is the "Wings of Dreams" scholarship for disabled and disadvantaged candidates, giving them the opportunity to access higher education.

Among the six scholarships that the university will award this year, some will be selected through cooperation with non-profit organizations that are RMIT partners. To date, the university has awarded 42 of these full scholarships with a total value of more than 70.2 billion VND.

Senior Director of Academics, Research and Student Curriculum at RMIT Vietnam, Professor Julia Gaimster, said that in addition to financial support, the "Fulfilling Dreams" scholarship also encourages and motivates young people with good academic performance but facing difficulties, helping them continue on their educational path.

The deadline for submitting scholarship applications is July 4, 2025.

25 years, 645 billion VND in scholarships awarded

Professor Julia Gaimster said that students who have won RMIT scholarships over the years have been partners with RMIT in promoting community development in which the school operates.

“2025 marks the 25th anniversary of RMIT University operating in Vietnam and we are extremely proud of the success of the scholarship program that the University has implemented to date. The University has awarded more than 1,880 scholarships to outstanding students, worth more than VND645 billion,” added Professor Julia Gaimster.
