Paragliding suddenly removed from the 15th anniversary celebration of Lang Co - World's Most Beautiful Bay

On May 9, the organizing committee of the program to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Lang Co - World Beautiful Bay (Phu Loc district, Thua Thien Hue province) said that they had decided to eliminate the paragliding performance and agreed to bring this activity back to serve tourists and locals on another occasion.

Previously, the People's Committee of Phu Loc district planned to organize the program to celebrate "Lang Co - World's Beautiful Bay - 15 years of Construction and Development" on May 10-12 with many exciting and attractive activities imbued with regional cultural identity, including paragliding performances.

As planned, there will be 5 pilots from a paragliding club from Da Nang city participating in a motorized paragliding performance to serve the people and tourists in the commemorative art program taking place on the night of May 11.

By the morning of May 12, this activity continued to take place in Lap An lagoon area, Lang Co town.

The organizers hope to include paragliding in the program to create new experiences for tourists and local communities.

However, the two sides could not agree on a number of issues related to state regulations, so the organizing committee decided to remove Lang Co from the program celebrating the 15th anniversary of Lang Co being honored as a beautiful bay in the world.

According to regulations, paragliding is an adventure sport , a conditional investment and business sector. This is a sport that must meet the requirements for training, competition and performance activities; safety measures and other regulations.
