On November 6, the Traffic Police Department of Hai Phong City Police announced that local authorities had successfully coordinated to arrest a suspect who had murdered and fled.
Accordingly, on the same morning, Quang Trung Traffic Police Station (under the Traffic Police Department of Hai Phong City Police) received information from the Criminal Police Team, Ngo Quyen District Police about Nguyen Ngoc Thanh (born 2003, residing in Quang Hai Commune, Quang Xuong, Thanh Hoa) as a murder suspect on the run.
Quang Trung Traffic Police Station conducted checks and blockades on the roads in the area. At 2:50 p.m. the same day, at km36 of National Highway 10 in the direction of Thai Binh, the working group coordinated and arrested Thanh, and handed him over to the Investigation Police Agency of Ngo Quyen District Police for investigation and handling according to the law.
At the police station, the suspect initially confessed to all his crimes.
Previously, at around 9:30 p.m. on November 5, on Tran Phu Street, Ngo Quyen District, a fight occurred, resulting in the death of NTD (born 2006, residing in Hai Phong City).
Upon receiving the information, the city police's professional units quickly went to the scene to coordinate with Ngo Quyen district police to examine the scene, perform an autopsy and capture the perpetrator.
