On May 1, according to information from Ho Chi Minh City Police, Ward 10 Police, District 8 arrested Pham Thi Ngoc Bich (born in 1994, residing in District 8) to investigate the act of intentionally causing injury. Bich was the one who used a knife to stab the police officer on duty in the neck.
According to Ho Chi Minh City Police, Bich had previously held a knife and suddenly stormed into the police headquarters of Ward 10, District 8, screaming and acting abnormally.
Not only that, Bich also used a knife to attack a few people around, causing 2 people to be injured in the neck and abdomen. Ward 10 police restrained and detained Bich and took the injured people to the hospital for emergency treatment.
Through a quick test, Bich tested positive for drugs.
Police determined that the cause and abnormal behavior of Bich was hallucinations caused by drug use. Bich had intentionally injured her biological mother and injured herself many times.
In addition, Bich had been treated at Central Psychiatric Hospital 2. After completing treatment, Bich worked as a waitress at restaurants but continued to use drugs.
Currently, the police are completing the case file and handling the subject according to the provisions of law.
As reported by VTC News, in the early morning of April 29, the hospital received a patient who was a police officer (32 years old). While on duty, a woman suddenly stabbed him in the right neck with a knife. The wound was complex and deep, bleeding profusely, and his blood pressure dropped.
The on-duty team quickly consulted and activated the red alert, moving the patient to the emergency operating room. After many hours of surgery, hemostasis and resuscitation, the patient's condition gradually stabilized.
