Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Thu, former Chief Administrative Judge of Kien Giang Provincial People's Court, was temporarily detained by the Investigation Agency of the Supreme People's Procuracy to investigate the act of receiving 2.5 billion VND to help the plaintiff win the lawsuit.

On September 13, the Supreme People's Procuracy's Investigation Agency has just issued decisions to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused, and temporarily detain the accused Nguyen Thi Cam Thu, former Chief Administrative Judge of Kien Giang Provincial People's Court, to investigate the act of "Receiving bribes".

Initial information shows that Ms. Thu received 2.5 billion VND to settle 2 administrative lawsuits of a plaintiff to help this person win the lawsuit. The case is being further investigated by the Investigation Agency of the Supreme People's Procuracy.

Regarding Ms. Thu, around April 2024, the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee proposed to review and discipline Ms. Thu for disclosing pre-trial results to the litigant, and having multiple money transfers with the plaintiff.
