Editor-in-Chief of Construction Newspaper Nguyen Anh Dung commented: Co To district has a systematic plan, a long-term and solid strategy. If this plan is implemented, Co To island district will become a pearl island of the whole country, not just Quang Ninh province.
However, Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Anh Dung also noted that Co To is still wild and has not yet achieved the goals set out in the planning. Therefore, the District People's Committee needs to invest more in urban design, urban management, waste and wastewater treatment, etc. so that Co To can develop strongly and sustainably.
At the ceremony, Construction Newspaper and Co To District People's Committee presented 40 gifts to policy households and families in difficult circumstances in the area. Each gift was worth 1 million VND. In addition, Construction Newspaper also presented 10 RO clean water purifiers to Co To District People's Committee to install in some schools and medical stations on the island.
On the same morning, the delegation of Construction Newspaper offered incense at the monument and temple of President Ho Chi Minh in the center of the island.
