Nhan Dan Newspaper holds Kenny G's live concert in Vietnam

Kenny G is the first major international artist invited by Nhan Dan newspaper to perform in Vietnam at the event 'Kenny G live in Vietnam', opening the international music project for the community 'Good Morning Vietnam' which is expected to invite many more international stars.

The information was given at the official announcement ceremony of the Kenny G live in Vietnam event, organized by Nhan Dan newspaper and IB Group Vietnam on the afternoon of October 9 in Hanoi.

Kenny G live in Vietnam will take place at 8pm on November 14 at the National Convention Center (Hanoi). So after 8 years, this artist will stand before Vietnamese audiences in Hanoi.

Kenny G live in Vietnam will open the Good morning Vietnam event series, initiated by Nhan Dan newspaper and IB Group Vietnam, scheduled to be held annually with international stars performing.

Previously, IB Group has brought some of the world's biggest artists to perform in Vietnam such as Modern Talking, Boney M... so they have a lot of experience in organizing this big and long-term program.

The project is introduced not only to spread the world's top music to Vietnam, but also to have profound humanitarian value because all ticket sales are used for charity purposes hosted by Nhan Dan newspaper, and the program production costs come from socialized sources.

"The spirit of dedication to the community has become a tradition of Nhan Dan newspaper. We want to expand the scale and bring new colors, invite famous international artists to participate in the newspaper's community activities, and at the same time help promote the image of the beautiful country and people of Vietnam."   Mr. Le Quoc Minh - editor-in-chief of Nhan Dan newspaper - said.

According to the organizers, Kenny G said this was the first time the artist performed for such a large community program.

In Kenny G live in Vietnam , the Grammy award-winning artist with the song Forever in love and his accompanying band will play live all the most famous songs of the past years such as: Going home, Havana, Romeo & Juliet, My heart will go on... for more than 2 hours.

Kenny G is known to the public as an American saxophonist with hundreds of instrumental songs in smooth jazz, R&B, pop and Latin, conquering music lovers around the world for over 30 years.

He is among the best-selling music artists of all time, with total sales of over 75 million records worldwide.
