Speaking at the opening of the conference, journalist Nguyen Cong Dung, Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper, said that in recent times, the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper has continued to implement many innovative solutions, improving the effectiveness of propaganda work to attract the attention and access of readers. The 11 publications of the Newspaper (Vietnamese, English, Chinese, French, Spanish, Russian, Internet TV, Documents - Document System, Ho Chi Minh Electronic News Page, VCNet, Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Information Portal) continue to have many breakthroughs in propaganda work.

The number of news articles published online is about 33,000, an average of 5,500 news articles/month; of which 50% - 55% are new news articles. The news articles reflect timely and correctly the country's outstanding political, foreign affairs, economic, security - defense, cultural and social events with rich, vivid multimedia forms of expression; the series of articles, news routes and propaganda articles are of high quality, creating a widespread effect.
In the face of important issues, outstanding events of the country, hot issues of social concern, the Editorial Board of the Newspaper has directed the Mobile Team reporters to promptly produce in-depth, comprehensive, and oriented analysis articles and information posted in important columns: Focus, Say or Don't, Let's Discuss. On average, each month, the Mobile Team reporters produce many quality articles, thereby providing readers with multi-dimensional perspectives, while expressing the views and opinions of the Newspaper on hot issues of public and social concern in all fields, ensuring the correct direction of propaganda, while affirming the role of orienting information on the internet.
An important and outstanding highlight in the propaganda work of the Newspaper in recent times is the results in Party building and rectification; work to protect the Party's ideological foundation; work of inspection and supervision; prevention of corruption, waste and negativity. The Communist Party of Vietnam e-newspaper has always focused on developing its team of collaborators, improving both quantity and quality. Currently, the newspaper has more than 200 collaborators, including more than 20 special collaborators, nearly 70 regular collaborators and a large number of irregular collaborators working at Central agencies, Military Regions, Military Services and units, provinces and cities across the country. With a team of enthusiastic and responsible collaborators, the work of collaborators in recent times has made many breakthroughs and innovations, contributing to the newspaper in terms of news and articles and a number of other areas.
Over the past time, collaborators have contributed over 4,000 news, articles and photos. On average, there are 170 - 200 news, articles and photos per month. Recently, the Editorial Board has directed the implementation of providing over 20 direct accounts to a number of special collaborators and regular collaborators, to facilitate the collaborators in news and article work.
This policy has helped contributors to be more proactive in entering news articles, creating favorable conditions to improve quality, encouraging contributors to write news and articles for the Newspaper more enthusiastically, responsibly and effectively. In addition, with the coordination of the team of contributors, the Newspaper has reflected and reported promptly on political, economic, security - defense, cultural, social events, outstanding achievements of localities, units, in all regions of the country, attracting a large number of interested readers to access.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Phan Xuan Thuy, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, said that contributing to the achievements in the work of the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper, it is impossible not to mention the role of the Newspaper's collaborators in 63 provinces/cities nationwide and in the Central departments, ministries and branches - As "extended arms" of the Newspaper in connecting the editorial center with the grassroots, becoming a bridge that contributes significantly to conveying to readers in-depth information in the fields of politics, economics, culture and education; thereby enhancing the vividness, timeliness and connection with the vivid reality of the Newspaper.
The number of contributors to the Newspaper has increased and, more importantly, the quality of the articles has improved. The diversity of topics and coverage has strengthened the reputation and continuously spread the contributors' articles in many sections of the Newspaper.
Many contributors have approached new journalism technologies, applying multimedia journalism forms in news and articles. This practice also shows that the training, propaganda orientation, facilitation and support for contributors have been well implemented by the Newspaper, thereby encouraging contributors to work actively, be creative, and produce many quality journalistic works, attracting the attention of a large number of readers.

Comrade Phan Xuan Thuy, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, hopes that the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper will continue to pay attention to and focus on innovation, improving the quality of content, techniques, technology and collaborators' work, and preparing all necessary conditions to build and develop the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper into a centralized, multimedia press agency in the spirit of Conclusion No. 26 of the Secretariat and Decision No. 362 of the Prime Minister.
Review the team of collaborators, classify and grasp the subjects to have a plan to build a diverse and rich network of collaborators, both large and elite, "both red and professional" to meet the assigned tasks. Maintain good training and development for the team of collaborators, especially improve the work of providing and orienting information, suggesting requirements for content of news and articles for collaborators.
At the Conference, delegates discussed and evaluated the propaganda work and collaborator work of the Newspaper; exchanged, drew lessons and proposed effective solutions to continue to innovate, comprehensively improve the quality and effectiveness of collaborator work, contributing to building the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper to develop more and more strongly, worthy of being the Party's main press agency on the Internet.
