Report on the results of the 7th session, 15th National Assembly

Today, July 2, the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Tri province, including Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Tri province Hoang Duc Thang; Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong; Commander of the Provincial Military Command, Colonel Nguyen Huu Dan, had meetings with voters in two communes of Trieu Phuoc (Trieu Phong district) and Hai Quy (Hai Lang district) to report the results of the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly.

The Land Law will take effect from August 1, 2024.

At the meetings, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, Colonel Nguyen Huu Dan reported the results of the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly. Accordingly, the session passed 11 laws, 21 resolutions, and gave initial opinions on 11 other draft laws.

Supervision activities, conducted questioning and answering questions; supreme supervision of the topic "Implementation of Resolution No. 43/2022/QH15 dated January 11, 2022 of the National Assembly on fiscal and monetary policies to support the Socio-Economic Recovery and Development Program and resolutions of the National Assembly on a number of important national projects until the end of 2023". In addition, reviewing the report on synthesizing voters' and people's recommendations, reporting on the results of monitoring the settlement of voters' recommendations, and a number of other important contents...

In personnel work, it is noteworthy that the session elected Mr. Tran Thanh Man as Chairman of the 15th National Assembly; Mr. To Lam as President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for the 2021-2026 term, along with a number of other important positions.

Some important policies and laws that are of interest to many voters will be considered and decided during the session, such as the Land Law, which will take effect from August 1, 2024; and salary reform, which will be implemented from July 1, 2024.

Focus on solving local problems

Expressing their thoughts and aspirations, voters of Trieu Phuoc commune said that in order to successfully build new rural areas in the locality, it is necessary to remove obstacles in planning and infrastructure investment. In particular, promptly handle obstacles in planning of the Southeast Quang Tri Economic Zone and the locality to facilitate infrastructure investment for urban development, socio-economic development and people's lives.

DH 46 road, the section from Trieu Phuoc commune to Trieu Do commune, has been invested in for a long time, but is now degraded and needs to be upgraded soon. Currently, the issue of clean water for daily life for people is a pressing issue and needs to have an investment solution soon to protect people's health.

Review, plan, and reinvest in the rural power grid system to ensure grid safety and people's safety. Pay attention to resolving the backlog of policies in the area, especially for units participating in the construction of the Nam Thach Han irrigation project. In addition, promptly resolve land-related petitions of some households in the area.

Voters of Hai Quy commune recommend that competent authorities continue to invest in the embankment to prevent landslides of the Hoi embankment canal passing through Van Van village and the Nhung river embankment passing through Tram Ly village. Currently, Ben Lang bridge on the traffic route from Tram Ly village to Hai Phu commune has been invested for more than 40 years, has seriously degraded, posing a risk to traffic safety and the safety of vehicles when traveling, and recommend early investment in upgrading. Focus on investing in and upgrading Hai Quy commune kindergarten, and promptly resolve the salary regime for nutrition staff at the preschool level. Promptly handle some petitions about land of specific households in the area.

Speaking at the contact points, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Hoang Duc Thang and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong acknowledged the voters' recommendations and discussed them again so that voters could understand.

In addition, the leaders of departments, branches and localities are requested to explain some areas under their jurisdiction. The National Assembly delegation will study, synthesize and send written recommendations to relevant agencies and local authorities to consider and resolve voters' recommendations as soon as possible.
