Handing over Great Solidarity Houses and Comrade Houses to poor households

On August 29, Economic - Defense Group 79 (Army Corps 15) coordinated with the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank - Quang Binh Branch and local authorities to organize the handover of Great Solidarity Houses and Comrade Houses to families with especially difficult housing circumstances in Le Thuy district.

Implementing the plan of the 15th Corps Command on building Great Unity houses and Comrades' houses for families with especially difficult housing circumstances in the Corps and local people, Economic - Defense Group 79 coordinated and supported funding to build 3 Great Unity houses for families of Bru - Van Kieu ethnic people in Ngan Thuy commune.

The three families that received the houses are Mr. Ho Van Chia (Khe Giua village); Mrs. Ho Thi Mun (Km14 village); and Mr. Ho Van Xay (Coi Da village). The funding to support the construction of each Great Unity house is 50 million VND, of which the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank, Quang Binh branch, supported the construction of 2 houses; the 15th Corps Command allocated the "For the Poor" fund to support the construction of 1 house.

The 15th Corps Command also supported the construction of 2 Comrades' Houses (each house supported 80 million VND) for 2 soldiers with especially difficult housing circumstances working at Economic - Defense Group 79, including Professional Soldier Captain Nguyen Van Phuong (Team 7); Professional Soldier Major Hoang Van Thuy (Production Team No. 1).

Also on this occasion, on the afternoon of August 28, the Fatherland Front Committee of Le Thuy district (Quang Binh) held a ceremony to inaugurate and hand over the Great Unity house to the family of Mr. Nguyen Trong Khon in Hamlet 3, Uan Ao village, Lien Thuy commune. From the budget of the Emulation Cluster of the Fatherland Front Committee of the North Central provinces, Mr. Khon's family was supported with 60 million VND to build a house.

The Great Solidarity Houses and Comrade Houses handed over to families with special housing difficulties in Quang Binh province demonstrate the concern of the Party Committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front, and the solidarity between the army and the people; at the same time, help households overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
